Brush with Art would like to acknowledge the support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation for the grant to the Visual Arts Alliance, spearheaded by Brush with Art. Their support assisted in the launch of a promotional campaign designed to increase awareness of the visual arts in Waterloo Region, challenge the community to think about art in a new way and invite the public to visit their local public art galleries.

Last November, 2008 Brush with Art launched the Heart of Gold Campaign by hosting a *hugely successful film evening* at the Princess Cinema in Waterloo. This sold out event helped kick-start Heart of Gold's ongoing jewellery recycling project. The money earned from donations of old or unwanted jewelley will be recycled and used to support the Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery, The Canadian Clay and Glass Galley and the Cambridge Galleries as well as maintaining an endowment fund for local artists and arts organizations in our Region.
